You Are Trapped

You Are Trapped. (あなた方は閉じ込められました。, Anatagata wa Tojikomeraremashita.) is an original immersive stage play written by Ryukishi07. It will be performed between October 25 to October 27, 2024.

Production and Release[]

The stage play was first announced on August 2, 2024 by the HeMeetsbrand Twitter account.^[1] It was teased a few days prior by the 07th Expansion Twitter account as the first type of work Ryukishi had ever done.^[2]

Synopsis[]

You are Trapped.

Two people realize that they have been locked in a room from the inside.
A PC has been placed there, and both realize that the other person is in the same situation as they are, so they check each other's situation together.
Except for a few, all of their memories are gone.
A mysterious character calling himself the "game master" then contacts them.

He tells them they're taking part in an "escape game".
If they manage to escape unharmed, they will receive a huge reward.
A highly prized reward, estimated to be not just a million or ten million, but the equivalence of a hundred million.
At the start, the two people are, like today's young people, pleasant and friendly, responding to spectators' requests.
In a friendly atmosphere, invited by the administrator who acts as the game leader, they have fun doing various things, such as introducing themselves.
Meanwhile, the first game is revealed.
The pair must work together to find the answer, asking the spectators for help.

Hearing this, both people's faces stiffen.
The friendly atmosphere that had prevailed until then disappears...
As they solve the mystery, fragments of memories they'd forgotten and didn't want to recall gradually return.
Ladies and gentlemen, it's no fun just watching,
you'll decide their fate.
Will you be able to solve the mystery and allow them to escape unharmed?
Or will you come to a bad ending?

あなた方は閉じ込められました。

気付けば2人は、それぞれの密室に閉じ込められていた。
PCが置かれており、自分と同じ境遇の人間がもう1人いることがわかり、
2人は状況を確認し合う。
しかも、自分に関する記憶が一部を除いて無くなっているのだった。
そこへ“ゲームマスター”を名乗る、謎の人物から連絡がある。

2人は「脱出ゲーム」の参加者であるという。
無事に脱出できれば、“高額の賞品”があるという。
それは、欲しくない人間などいるはずもなく、それが買えるのならば、人によっては、
百万でも一千万でも、それこそ一億でも払うような“賞品”だという。
最初は2人も、今時の若者らしくノリがよくて、
視聴者たちのリクエストにも気さくに答えてくれる。
和気藹々としたムードの中、司会者のように振舞う管理人に促され、
自己紹介やら何やらで楽しく盛り上がる。
そんな中、最初のゲームが出題される。
2人は視聴者に助けを求めながら、協力して解き、答えを得る。

それを聞いた途端、2人の顔が強張る。
直前までの和気藹々とした雰囲気は霧散する……
謎を解くにつれて記憶の断片・触れたくない忘れていた記憶に少しずつ触れていく……。
