Please clarify the 17 humans vs 17 people[]
Thanks for the info Omegabodega. Can someone please clarify the translation problems or whatever here, and what it's really supposed to be, and why? (and what might or might not be wrong otherwise?)

In Japanese, Erika says 我こそは来訪者ッ、六軒島の１８人目の人間ッ while Battler and Beatrice say １７人だ. The translation we have now is more or less how you'd read it: 人 and 人間 both mean human. Erika says she's the 18th counted human while Battler says there's 17 humans/people. The way this red is supposed to work based on the manga is Battler saying there are 17 bodies while Erika's saying there are 18 names.
