Kanji Romaji Translation

目を閉じると
光が見える
耳を澄ますと
大地の鼓動といき[1]

甘美 誘惑
戸惑いの心境こころ
風は 私を 切り裂く

Me wo tojiru to
Hikari ga mieru
Mimi wo sumasu to
Daichi no toiki

Amami yuuwaku
Tomadoi no kokoro
Kaze wa watashi wo kirisaku

If we were to close our eyes,
We can see the light
If we were to listen intently,
We can hear the earth pulsatesigh

Temptations so sweet,
They make my heart feel at sea
The wind slices right through me

ひとつ消えれば
ふたつ消えゆく
灯火あかりは命さす
旋律シラベ

花は自ら
散りゆく 無常
歴史は廻る廻る
メリーゴーランド

強張る身体をゆらして
唇噛み締め
幻想しんじつをみる

Hitotsu kiereba
Futatsu kieyuku
Akari wa inochi sasu
Shirabe

Hana wa mizukara
Chiriyuku mujou
Rekishi wa mawaru mawaru
Merīgōrando

Kowabaru karada wo yurashite
Kuchibiru kamishime
Shinjitsu wo miru

If one were to fade,
Then two shall fade away
Torches lighting the way for life
Are a melody

Flowers are an impermanence
They wither away on their own
And history is a merry-go-round
As it revolves and revolves

Cradling my stiffening form,
Biting down on my lip,
I look at the fantasytruth

目をあけると
光が見える
耳を閉ざすと
風の鼓動いぶき

甘美 誘惑
愁いの心境こころ
風は 私を 包みこむ

Me wo akeru to
Hikari ga mieru
Mimi wo tozasu to
Kaze no ibuki

Amami yuuwaku
Urei no kokoro
Kaze wa watashi wo tsutsumikomu

If we were to open our eyes,
We can see the light
If we were to close our ears,
We can hear the earth pulsatetake a breath

Temptations so sweet,
They make my heart feel agonized
The wind completely engulfs me

ひとつ消えれば
ふたつ消えゆく
あかりは命さす
旋律シラベ

花は蕾みで
枯れゆく 無常
地球だいちは回る回る
メリーゴーランド

震える 身体をゆらして
唇噛み締め

If one were to fade,
Then two shall fade away
The soul which gives light to life
Is a melody

Flowers are an impermanence
They wither away even as they bud
And the earth is a merry-go-round
As it revolves and revolves

Cradling my stiffening form,
Biting down on my lip,
I look at the realitytruth

小さな耀きあかり
手を伸ばしても
つかめない 貴方と私の
ワルツ

花は自ら
散りゆく 無常
歴史は廻る廻る
メリーゴーランド

強張る身体ゆらして
唇噛み締め

Shinjitsu wo miru

A small glimmer of light
Even with outstretched hands,
You and I cannot grasp it
As we waltz together

Flowers are an impermanence
They wither away on their own
And history is a merry-go-round
As it revolves and revolves

Cradling my stiffening form,
Biting down on my lip,
I look at the fantasytruth

I look at the fantasytruth

Notes[]

  1. Ateji: Many of the words in the lyrics use Kanji characters which have little or nothing to do with the meaning of the words pronounced in the song. Hence, Furigana have been included to denote the meaning of the words pronounced above the character meanings; both in the Japanese lyrics and the English translation. The Romaji only includes the pronunciations used in the song. These particular usages of Ateji (uncoventional reading) are an artistic liberty solely for this song and will not make sense elsewhere.
