Kumasawa's son. Works at the Niijima Fishing Harbor. He must have gotten his carefree, big-hearted personality from Kumasawa.
Many of Kumasawa's sons are fishermen, so they're often away from land for their work. This one happens to work at the harbor, so it was only coincidence that I managed to get in touch with him.
Kumasawa loved to talk, so I did hope he might've heard her let something slip, but...
Appearance[edit | edit source]
Sabakichi is a heavy-set man with gray hair and wears a blue shirt.
Role in the Story[edit | edit source]
In 1998, Ange goes to interview relatives of people who died in the Rokkenjima Massacre, with Sabakichi being her second stop. She discovers that Sabakichi received a letter containing a PIN number, a bank card, and a set of keys labeled A114, similar to Masayuki Nanjo.
Sabakichi also reveals to Ange that his mother tried to solve the epitaph and points her to some pictures.
