Phase 2 will be the second story arc in Ciconia no Naku Koro ni. It was originally delayed to an unspecified date in 2020[1] but has since been delayed indefinitely. On the 07th Party 7 livestream which announced the indefinite delay, Ryukishi07 said it was done because "it was like writing about Godzilla and Godzilla really ended up coming".
A preview of Phase 2's script was released with an artbook on the 07th Public Bath event on June 6, 2021.[2]
