Umineko no Naku Koro ni Chiru ~Shinjitsu to Gensou no Nocturne~ (うみねこのなく頃に散 ~真実と幻想の夜想曲~, lit. When The Seagulls Cry Scattering ~Nocturne of Truth and Illusions~) is a port of Umineko no Naku Koro ni Chiru for the Playstation 3 by Alchemist. It was released in Japan on December 15, 2011.
Promotion and Release[]
The game was first announced on July 28, 2011 alongside an announcement that Umineko no Naku Koro ni Portable would be released.[1] On September 8, 2011, a video was made showcasing the vocal performances of new characters, but kept the voice actors secret to be revealed on a later date.[2] On October 25, 2011, the opening theme Inanna no Mita Yume, composed by Chiyomaru Shikura, was revealed.[3] The voice actors for Erika Furudo, Dlanor A. Knox, Gertrude, Cornelia, Zepar, Furfur, and Tohya Hachijo were finally revealed on November 1, 2011.[4] The voice actors for Lion Ushiromiya and Willard H. Wright were revealed on November 22, 2011.[5]

The port includes an entirely new character sprite set with additional poses and expressions, the addition of CGs, additional visual effects, the addition of voice acting, and a new opening video. The story is identical to the original source material, though details regarding the incest in Requiem of the Golden Witch are slightly obscured due to censorship.
