Niesagashi-hen (贄捜し編, lit. Sacrifice Searching Chapter) is an arc exclusive to i-mode phones. It is followed by Kokorokuzushi.

Since it is an adventure game where destiny changes depending on your choices, you may be attacked by a thug and the game will be over. The game progresses from the point of view of a new character, Minoru Kajiwara. Experience the truth of the tragedy that occurred in the TV anime version from a different angle. Also, Keiichi and Rena, who appeared in the main story, also show their faces.

Keiko Suzuyama, a magazine reporter investigating the murder case at Hinamizawa Dam, has gone missing. Editor-in-chief Masanori Kawashima asks the detective Minoru Kajiwara to investigate her whereabouts. Kajiwara visits Hinamizawa, but is unable to obtain convincing information and urged by Detective Oishi of the local police to go home. Although Kajiwara is at a loss, he meets a girl named Wakaba who knows Suzuyama and learns that her disappearance is related to a series of mysterious deaths in the past.
雛見沢ダムのバラバラ殺人事件について調べていた雑誌記者の鈴山恵子 が行方不明になった。編集長の川島正則は、探偵の梶原稔に彼女の行方調査を依頼する。梶原は雛見沢を訪れるが有力な情報は得られず、地元警察の大石刑事に帰ったほうがいいと促されてしまう。途方にくれる梶原だったが、鈴山を知る若葉という少女と出会い、失踪が過去の連続怪死事件と関係があることを知る。
