07th Expansion Titles[]

Higurashi When They Cry[]

The Higurashi series was released under the title Higurashi When They Cry. The initial release had the Question Arcs as a single game, while the Answer Arcs were split into individual releases. A Steam release of the titles was announced at Anime Expo 2014 (July 3) with an added Hou subtitle, featuring a redone translation and new art by Kurosaki[1]. The localization of Higurashi Hou was announced at Anime Boston 2015 (April 3)[2].

As of September 12, 2021, MangaGamer staff have confirmed they have not stopped translation work on Rei and Hou, according to a message in their official Discord server.[3] Higurashi Rei was announced for a June 2, 2022 release date on May 5, 2022.[4]
