This page documents Japanese and English home video releases of the Higurashi When They Cry series. Unless specifically noted, Nekogoroshi is not included.

Higurashi When They Cry (2006 anime)

Some editions of the 2006 anime DVDs each came with a CD, playing cards, and some TIPS written by Ryukishi07. A standalone OVA titled Nekogoroshi-hen was released as a bonus to those who ordered all nine DVD box sets.

Higurashi When They Cry Kai

The DVD releases of Kai were split into two different subsets: Tsumugi (紡(ツムギ), lit. Spinning), consisting of volumes 1-6, and Musubi (結(ムスビ), lit. Conclusion), consisting of volumes 7-12. Consumers who bought all Tsumugi volumes could get "Chie's New Year's Gift Set", a set of special curry plates and spoons. Those who bought all 12 volumes could receive a mahjong set.

The limited editions of each DVD contained extras in the form of Ura☆Higu shorts and skits recorded by the voice cast.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kaku: Outbreak

The OVA was released as a prize for CR Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Itadaki and sold separately for a limited time on Animate Online only, with reservations accepted from October 15 to October 31, 2013 .
