Kaleidoscope of Phantasm Prison 2 (幻想牢獄のカレイドスコープII Gensou Rougoku no Kaleidoscope II), abbreviated as Gerokasu 2 (ゲロカス2, lit. Trash 2), is a visual novel written by Ryukishi07 and published by Entergram with character designs and key animation by Higashi Kako.

Come and join the fun and games in Wonderland.

“Let’s have a little reunion, just the four of us.”
Lemon, Cyan, Murasaki and Korone.
A group of four close friends who were considered “oddballs” back in middle school.
Over time, they drifted apart, each leading their own high school lives.
In the summer of their third year in high school, Korone—the lively mood maker who brought the oddballs together—reaches out after a long time.
Looking forward to their reunion, they all arrive at the meeting place… or so they thought.
When they regain consciousness, they find themselves in a small room with no exit.
The room is decorated as if themed after Alice in Wonderland.
In each corner of the square room, there is a chair and a table for each girl, as well as a lovely tea set.
And also, long chains that extend from each chair, connected to the collars around the girls’ necks…

いつしか疎遠になって、それぞれ高校生活を送っていた。
高校３年生の夏休み。久しぶりに連絡をくれたのは、 変わり者たちをまとめてくれたムードメーカーのコロネ。
再会を楽しみにして、待ち合わせ場所に到着した…はずだった──。
意識を取り戻すと、そこは出口のない小さな部屋。
まるで不思議の国のアリスをテーマにしたような一室。
四角い部屋の四隅には、それぞれ一人掛けの椅子とテーブル。
素敵なお茶の用意があった。 そして椅子からは長い鎖が伸び、少女たちの首輪に繋がっていた……。

Production and Release[]
- On October 24, 2024, Entergram's X account published an image showing Kurone Uzuhana teasing a new game announcement for October 25, 2024[1].
- On October 25, 2024, it was revealed that this game would be Kaleidoscope of Phantasm Prison 2, and that it would be released on February 14 for PS4 and Nintendo Switch[2]. The game's website goes live[3], revealing the staff[4], some CG[5], limited edition content[6], pre-order bonuses[7] and a character presentation[8].
- On November 8, 2024, the different voice actors are revealed on the character page[8]. Additionally, Entergram's YouTube channel publishes a video called Greeting from Kurone Uzuhana[9].
- On December 20, 2024, the opening movie is published on Youtube[10]. The theme is called Masshiro Gerokasu☆Reunion (まっしろゲロカス☆リユニオン), sung by Yuuko Natsuyoshi (voice of Kurone), written by Ryukishi07 and composed by Xaki.
- On December 27, 2024, a third sprite is presented for the four protagonists, as well as voice samples for all five characters[8].
- On January 7, 2025 a video presented by Nanakaku Beako is released in which Dai, Luck Ganriki and Xaki discuss their work on the two Gerokasu games[11]. They take this opportunity to reveal 5 tracks that will be featured in the game. Scriptal-fate and GRKS composed by Xaki, Emi Naki Machine (笑み亡きマチネ) and Rinse In Dial (リンスインダイヤル) by Luck Ganriki and MSS Program by Dai.
- On January 23, 2025, the game is delayed to March 14, 2025[12].
- On February 13, 2025, a demo is released on PS4 and Switch[13].
