Comparisons to Similar Arcs

Kageboushi adapts various elements from Onisarashi and has several differences:

  • Tomoe Minai is introduced as a brand-new main character, continuing her role from Someutsushi. Kaoru Yamaoki is also introduced in this arc..
  • Chisato and Tamako receive more focus.
  • Kageboushi expands upon Natsumi's "demonic side" by introducing it as a split personality that was controlled by medication.
