Promotion and Release[]
Meguri was first teased at the end of the Gou manga's final chapter, claiming to have "answer arcs that are different from those of the TV anime, reconstructed by Tomato Akase based on Higurashi Gou and Sotsu".
After the release of Satokowashi Chapter 3 part 2, Akase tweeted that it would mark a gradual divergence from the anime's plot and ultimately lead to a different ending.[2]
