Higurashi Outsiders (ひぐらしアウトサイダー Higurashi autosaidā) was the thirty-eighth event in Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Mei. It is an event in celebration of the game's 1.5 year anniversary that ran from March 1, 2022 until March 18, 2022.

This story is an alternate ending to Part 1 of Higurashi Mei's main story.
Kazuho, Nao, and Miyuki opt to stay behind in 1983 to fight the horde of tsukuyami rather than return to the future. The club struggles to find a solution to their problems, but Irie gets some ideas regarding the hidden potential of Role Cards.
