Hinamizawa Walker[]
Hinamizawa Walker (雛見沢ウォーカー) was a series of articles dedicated to Higurashi When They Cry games, including Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Matsuri, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kizuna, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Jan, and Higurashi Daybreak Portable and its sequel MEGA EDITION. The February 2007 issue of Gemeaga contained a special booklet with Matsuri concept art and staff interviews.
Higurashi Daybreak Portable 4-Komas[]
This article or section contains untagged major spoilers for all of the original Higurashi When They Cry story and possibly the console-exclusive arcs. Readers who have not completed the story are advised not to proceed further. |
Two series of 4-koma comics based off of Higurashi Daybreak Portable and Daybreak Portable MEGA EDITION were illustrated by FFC and Takahito Ekusa and published in various issues.
Takehito Ekusa[]
Takehito Ekusa's comic was called Go Get 'Em, Tomitake! (それゆけ富竹 Soreyuke Tomitake)
Title: Number 2 (2号 Nigou)
First panel: Rika wears a maid uniform and proclaims she can fight in it, with Rena gushing over it and calling it kyute.
Second panel: Tomitake asks Rika if he can take a picture, and she agrees since he's a photographer.
Third panel: Satoko, Rika, and Mion join Rika, all also wearing costumes. Ooishi appears with a costume of his own, and Rika calls him "Tomitake #2".
Fourth panel: A crying Tomitake addresses Ooishi's censored outfit (seemingly a bikini) and asks how Rika can possibly call him Tomitake #2.
FFC[]
First panel: Rika and Tomitake note that Okonogi has a weird weapon, being a pair of shears attached to a magic hand.
Second panel: Okonogi explains that handguns are his normal weapon but he likes the magic hand better. He advertises that the shears are sharp and easy to use even for old people, and says that it's also very extendable.
Third panel: Okonogi continues advertising the item, saying the magic hand can grab all sorts of things including "that girl's skirt", and says to buy one now.
Fourth panel: Tomitake and Keiichi are enamored by Okonogi's ad and desire to buy one, much to Rika's displeasure.
First panel: Miyoko sees that the Heisei Era is convenient because with cell phones, she doesn't need to carry change.
Second panel: Miyoko sees that she doesn't need to carry around her weapon the "Fated 10-Yen Coin" either, so long as she has a phone.
Third panel: Miyoko rejoices that, if she's in a Higurashi Daybreak Mobile Edition and her grandfather can come help her, then nothing can scare her.
Fourth panel: The phone turns out to be useless and is out of range, as phones don't work in Hinamizawa. (A reference to Yoigoshi.)Article Gallery[]
