Fukisokusei Entropy (不規則性エントロピー, lit. Irregular Entropy) is the second ending for the new Higurashi no Naku Noro ni Gou anime. It was performed by Ayane; who also performed many of the console opening songs beginning with Nageki no Mori. The song was written and composed by the famous anime producer/lyricist and composer Chiyomaru Shikura. A titular single featuring the full version was released on 6th February, 2021.
Together we laughed,
Sharing our sorrows
There's no replacement
For such a special place
The bonds we created
Are always here, aren't they?
Slipping out of notice,
The beats of the heart chime
And yet they are unmistakably
A sign of life
The descending shadows (Suddenly)
Face you from behind
天高く 描かれた
空の色は 蒼くて
無限回 繰り返す
まるでそれは 箱庭
幼き動機の共鳴
結ばれた糸先は

Endlessly it repeats itself—
Almost as if it were atop a boxed garden

Is bound to a thread, and at its end—

Notes[]
↑ 1.01.1Ushiro no shoumen (後ろの正面, What's behind when I face forward?) is a reference to a line from a Japanese warabe uta—Kagome Kagome. Kagome Kagome is a singing game in which one player is chosen as the "Oni" (鬼, Demon) or the "it" and sits down blindfolded. The other players encircle the oni and orbit them as they sing the rhyme. At the end, the Oni is asked to guess who is standing behind them. One of the popular interpretations of this line is "Who is my executioner?"This line is a very popular reference in Higurashi as it can be found in many songs from the franchise.
↑ 2.02.1Hakoniwa (箱庭, lit. box garden) refers to a type of miniature garden similar to the bonsai culture in Japan. The garden is typically created within the confines of a box and is hence referred to as such. They are often picturesque and very realistic, down to the most minute details; much like the concept of a dollhouse.
