Requiem of the Golden Witch Vol. 1 is the first volume of Eita Mizuno's manga adaptation of Requiem of the Golden Witch and the 33rd overall volume of the manga adaptation of Umineko When They Cry. The volume was released in English by Yen Press in an omnibus format with Volume 2 and Volume 3.

First of all, thank you for pickign up the first volume of Episode 7 of the manga adaptation of Umineko When They Cry. My deep thanks go out to Mizuno-sensei and everyone else involved in putting out the book.
In Episode 7, we begin to see the answers to a number of mysteries comes to light. When originally writing the material, I remember undergoing quite a bit of strain checking for logic errors and debating how much of the answer to reveal... (laughs)
But enough about my side of things. I just hope that you are able to enjoy Episode 7 in this different form from the original visual novel. Also, we've got a number of new characters to watch. Going into it, I had only a few concerns: Will had to be cool! Lion had to be androgynous! And clair had to be...
Whoops, I'd better hold back on that for now... (laughs) I can't wait to see how Mizuno-sensei draws Will and the others going about their duties!

I am Eita Mizuno, the artist in charge of Episode 7.
Will and Lion make their first appearance in this one, so I was a bit nervous taking that on, but I'll do my best to make their qualities shine!
By the way, I had always imagined Will's "girlfriend" (ha-ha) Diana as a slim Siamese, but then I found out she's supposed to be a white Persian... Will, with a fluffy Persian cat...? I think...I like it! (ha-ha)
