Tea Party —Episode 6—
Secret Tea Party —????—
Hello, I am Ryukishi07.
This is the end of Episode 6, which was originally published alongside Episode 5. Perhaps those readers who were following them together are startled by the sudden leaps in the story. Two Beatrices, Ange and Featehrine, and the disappearance of Erika...all this crazy stuff happened, and yet it's still not the final story!? That's right, there's more to come. Stay tuned for the continuation of the manga edition of Umineko When They Cry (laughs).
On a tangent, when I was first writing this story, I had an idea that since Ange would be Featherine's "miko", she could actually wear a traditional miko outfit. That never materialized for various reasons, but when the manga came around, the staff said to me, "If you don;t do it now, it'll never happen. What's the harm in asking?" However, with all of the new characters involved, I felt that if Ange showed up in a different outfit, it could only increase the readers' confusion, so we have once again lost that opportunity (laughs). And to think, I had the chance to see Momoyama-sensei draw Ange in an even sexier version of Hanyu's Outfit from Higurashi. What a shame! Okay, okay, nobody cares about Ryukishi07's fantasies... (laughs)
With just two episodes left to go, I hope you will let your imagination and theories run wild as you head into Episode 7. May you find the truth that will satisfy you...
I believe that Hinase Momoyama-sensei, as with Higurashi When They Cry: Massacre Arc, has brought the original story to life with even greater clarity and aplomb than before. Thank you so much for your wonderful work! Be sure to pick up the Higurashi manga too, everyone!
Hello it's Momoyama again. This is the end of Umineko Episode 6. It was super fun to get to draw Beato-sama, Erika, and all the other Umineko characters! I owe a great debt of gratitude to everyone at 07th Expansion, and my editors Nakagawa-sama, Koizumi-sama, Mochizuki-sama, and Ifuku-sama. Thanks to all of you, I was able to reach the end. I am eternally grateful!!!
Now that I'm done, I'd like to spend my time reading the Umineko commentary essay books that I couldn't get to during the serialization. It's very enjoyable to see these topics covered with different ways of thinking. 𝅘𝅥𝅮
Speaking of which, I've recently gotten into the "repeat after me" game that the Umineko web radio program was doing a while back. It's so much fun! And so satisfying! It also really wakes you up, so it was a help when the sandman was attacking my brain (laughs).
Well, that's all.
Thank you so much for reading along to the end!!
