1983: The Bewilderment of Ange Ushiromiya (昭和58年・右代宮縁寿の困惑 Shōwa 58-nen: Ushiromiya Ange no Konwaku) was the thirty-third event in Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Mei, and the sixth collaboration event. It is the second part to the collab with Umineko When They Cry that ran from December 21, 2021 until January 6, 2022.

Plot Summary[]

Ange Ushiromiya visits the long-abandoned Hinamizawa in 1993 and is suddenly taken away to witness the past. In 1983, Battler and Jessica head to the village to inspect a hot springs being built there by Jessica's parents. After meeting the club and seeing them fight tsukuyami, Battler becomes worried and helps them keep the monsters away in order to ensure the hot springs' success.
