The 07th Expansion Character Popularity Poll is a character poll held on the official 07th Expansion website. It allows fans to vote for their favorite characters in the series represented. The polls do not follow a regular schedule, and are released whenever Ryukishi07 decides it.
The most recent poll was held from September 7 to September 30, 2020. Each person got one vote per day. Unlike in the 2012 poll, the votes were shared between characters from all series involved. In addition, voting in the poll no longer required a Twitter account, and there was no comment box.
The results of the poll were announced on November 8, 2020 at the 07th Partylivestream. Unlike in previous polls, only the top characters from each series and overall were ranked, and their exact vote counts were not specified. Rank 11 to 20 of the overall results were not announced on the livestream but were shown on a PDF on the event website. Note that the results may contain spoilers for their respective series.
The PDF the event website published also included a short story based on the results of the polling.
The seventh ranked character was originally omitted as part of a surprise in line with the name of the event, 07th Party. In the same vein, Amakusa was also revealed to be the 70th ranked character.
