Story[]
Shion calls the club together so she can get advice about owning a pet. She lives in an apartment by herself and has started to feel sad and lonely, so she wants to get a pet, and asks if any of the club members have ever owned pets. Satoko says she owned a crayfish long ago but it died. Hanyuu says a few Hinamizawa villagers own dogs. Rena says she currently owns a hamster, which surprises Nao since she's never seen it, and Rena explains she keeps her hamster somewhere else and offers to show Nao sometime. Shion realizes that she should just ask a pet themselves.
Shion meets with Purin and asks what he would do if he were treated as a pet. Purin expresses how he'd like to relax and run around in a place like Hinamizawa with all of its nature, and if he were in a pet store he'd like to see the smiling faces of new customers. Satoko notes how Purin and Shion are completely opposite in terms of personality, which annoys Shion. Shion begins to get an idea after hearing Purin's thoughts however, and Purin mentions that he brought his other friends this time. Rena and Nao get excited and run off to meet them.
Later, the club is fighting tsukuyami like usual, with some cute ones from earlier mixed in. Shion becomes happy after petting some of the cute tsukuyami, with the rest of the club getting annoyed. Satoko hints that she might act as Shion's pet if she treated her nicer. After defeating all of the tsukuyami, they find Rena and Nao peacefully lying in a pool of their own blood, apparently generated from cuteness overload. They wake them up and go home.
The next day at school, Shion says she went and got a hamster in the end. She shows everyone the hamster itself, which managed to sneak into her schoolbag. She then mentions that she named the hamster "Satoko #2", much to the original Satoko's annoyance.
