This card depicts Chisame Kurosawa under the combined effects of Hinamizawa Syndrome and Role Card usage.
Story[]
Part 1[]
There was an incident where someone anonymous criminal threatened a famous confectionary, the "Meiwa Confectionary Poison Incident". The criminal claimed they'd posion their food if they refused to pay them 100 million yen. That ended up with great repercussion, multiple companies halting sales for a while, collecting old sweets to replace their packages with more secure ones. Chisame regrets at the time seeing all that as unrelated to her.
Part 2[]
Chisame once had a pet dog, called Hohojiro (from Great White Shark's Japanese name). She couldn't keep it at home, so it was in her grandparents' house, but she went there every week to take care of it. One rainy day, she went out to play with it, and met a strange who saw her playing tricks with the dog. The stranger said he was very impressed and would like to give some candies to her. He had bought them for his daughter, but she didn't like them. He insists over and over she should accept them, calling Chisame ungrateful, until she goes along with him. Chisame picked them up but before eating one, Hohojiro pushed her leg and she ended up dropping it, then it immediately ate it. Soon the dog fell on the ground convulsing in pain, and the man disappeared. It died shortly afterwards.
Part 3[]
In front of the Furude shrine, as chaos spreads around Hinamizawa, Chisame with golden eyes explains to Miyuki what happened afterwards. It turns out the man was a copy cat criminal living in the neighborhood and he was charged with destruction of property. Chisame used to admire her dad, who was a policeman, but that just left her baffled and soured on the "justice" defended by the police. So, Hohojiro was just an object, not a living being. She could have died, she could have killed Miyuki, since she loves sweet candies more than her and they often share. And yet that man basically had no punishment.
With this power, Chisame claims she will change the world. She will bring true justice above what police or laws can do. She doesn't care if she's considered a criminal, she'd carry on that burden to bring justice. Miyuki stands in her way, although clearly unable to keep up with her. Chisame says she doesn't want to kill her, but might need to break a few bones if she keeps being stubborn. When they clash, Miyuki asks if Chisame believes her father would want that. Chisame says that her father was wrong, that's why he ended up dead and couldn't protect anything.
Miyuki wakes up. She was in a train with Chisame. Thinking about that dream, she asks Chisame about her dog, and wonders what she'd do if the criminal was freely walking around. Chisame says she doesn't need to worry about revenge. Besides all the business with Kazuho Kimiyoshi is clearly much more dangerous. She has higher priorities. Although afterwards Chisame whispers to herself, "For now".
