Origin[]
This card depicts Mion Sonozaki wearing the Sakakino High School uniform from School Days. The 6-star artwork features Sekai Saionji.
Story[]
After watching the finale of the drama introduced in the Years of Infidelity event, Mion can't accept it. How did it end in tragedy and assassinations? She talks with Shion who is also surprised by it, but Mion is outright angry. There is another issue though - the people who arrived in Hinamizawa recently have the same names as the characters in the drama, but dismisses it as just a coincidence. Shion keeps it to herself, but she also recognized the surname Saionji from somewhere else.
Mion, a Sakakino High School student, complains with Keiichi (name noted as "*****") on the phone. He gave excuses but it was clear the entire Christmas party she had prepared was going to waste. Incidents like this were common, but he always said he was sorry and fixed things afterwards, but it just happened again and again. This time, he was also oddly cold, even aggressive, telling Mion he never asked for a party and that she was just a nuisance. Through the phone, Mion hears Rena's voice in the background playfully calling Keiichi. Then, the call is cut off. Mion furiously throws around the Christmas plates she had prepared. Anger and sorrow mixed into a murderous intent. She'd kill everyone standing in her way.
Mion wakes up back in reality. She went crying to Shion, who stayed over at the Sonozaki Main House during that night. Mion carried the horrible feelings from that dream to her when she woke up, as if it had been the reality. Shion believes that Mion reacts that badly to the show because it was a semi-realistic scenario, but the characters act in a way that Mion herself wouldn't, thus her strong rejection of it. Mion believes Keiichi would never be that type of person, who'd crush other people's feelings for his own. Still, if ending up in that Christmas situation, she'd confront him directly.
When Mion leaves, Shion says she can't complain about Mion getting upset over some tv drama, since if it's a matter of believing in impossible stories, there's one she believes in.
Trivia[]
- The artwork and obtainment quote of the 6-star variant is a reference to the final episode of the School Days animation, which makes Sekai's appearance ironic.
